CNC machine tools for foams, sponges

Foams and sponges are cut on cutting Routers - cutters. These are devices that come in two versions. In the standard version with rack and pinion drives - these are machines based on the body of a large-format machining center, however, they are equipped with a light gantry enabling significant increase of dynamics, accelerations and feed speed. They can be equipped with pneumatic or electric heads and can be adapted to be cut with different types of knives depending on the application.

We also offer cutters on linear drives. We are the first company that started mass production of CNC HighSpeed cutters with linear drives. This ensures maximum efficiency offered on the market at the same time while maintaining very high accuracy and durability of the solution due to the fact that linear drives do not have mechanical transmissions only the drive is carried out directly by means of a magnetic field.

For less demanding users, we also have economic solutions based on a Blackbird machine. Such solutions are particularly suitable for making prototypes and small production.

Machines for cutting foams and sponges can be milling plotters or milling machines equipped with a cutting head option. This solution allows us to obtain the possibility of cutting foams in a situation where milling is the main function of cutting on the machine. There are also reverse solutions, ie milling plotters where the basic function is cutting and it is a machine offered in a version with a light gantry with the option of adding a milling head to it with light power, however, this kind of milling facilitates many works in the company. Some materials such as foams, sponges, soundproofing materials tend to stick to a knife or if they are made of abrasive materials such as glass wool or glass fiber materials for quick wear of cutting knives in such a situation, we propose waterjet cutters, which in the stone wool industry they have been standard for many years and it is the best technology for cutting these materials. Also, a part of artificial materials that melt from the interaction with the knife is also recommended cutting with water, such as, for example, polyamide damping mats.
