Packaging machines are made on the basis of large-format machining centers. They are equipped with special options that are dedicated to this industry. As for these large-scale machining centers, these are the machines most often used in the production of bookbinding blanking dies. They can be used for milling in planks for knives, for milling cleaning plates with milling cutters, for milling of counters and pertinx boards and for counter-hardened countertops made of hardened sheet metal, for making packaging in large quantities. These are devices most often equipped with 50,000 rpm spindles on ceramic bearings, cooled with liquid with a vacuum table, which is very well-established in European and global companies focusing on the production of bookbinding blanking dies.

Our machines - large-format machining centers dedicated to this type of work are becoming the standard of the global die-cutting industry. When it comes to the production of the packaging itself, of course large format cutting plotters enable high-speed cutting, digital cutting of shapes from solid cardboard or corrugated cardboard. You can also equip the machine with special software that automatically generates FEFCO designs. All you have to do is choose the type of packaging, specify the size of the package and the thickness of the material and the system will automatically generate shapes, after which you can automatically cut and cut out the elements that are immediately suitable for folding the packaging. Machines of this type can be used for the production of on-line packaging during the production cycle of atypical element sizes, eg sets of kitchen furniture fronts need to be packaged in a different package size practically every time, this is an example of where this machine can be used very well due to that it is enough to specify the size of the packaging and the machine will cut it right away with high efficiency.

If this performance is to be very large, you can use the HighSpeed machine in the version on linear drives for this purpose, which allows us to significantly increase the efficiency.

For casual applications, when you need to buy a large format milling machine, there is also a cutting and creasing head option that allows you to perform this type of work, i.e. making the packaging with a slightly lower performance than on a dedicated machine, but for a small extra charge for the milling machine you can gain an additional option to cut and crease elements cardboard packaging. Our machines are perfectly suited for the production of EPE foam fillings or cardboard honeycomb material. Both of these materials can be cut with high efficiency on all cutting plotters of our company, due to the fact that in standard we offer a large clearance up to 100mm and we have the option of cutting materials with a thickness of 100mm. This is a unique feature of our cutters because most of the machines of this type offered on the market will not exceed even half of this thickness.
